Daisy-like Flowers - Flat Ended Petals with Rounded Lobes

Yellow Daisy (Plains Yellow Daisy) Tetraneuris scaposa
Flower about 2 1/2" wide and can have 12-31 petals. Orangey-yellow
center forms a low dome. Petals age to white and curl
under. Grass-like leaves are at the base only. Flower heads
are about 1 foot high. Blooms March through May, sporadically
through the summer and then again in September through October.

Fineleaf Fournerved Daisy Tetraneuris linearifolia
Annual with branched, conspicuously leafy stems. Ray flowers are 5-10mm
long, quite variable from 6-22. Phyllaries 2.5-4.5mm long.
The bloom time is from Mar-May, re-branching and producing additional heads to Jul.

leaves are at the base only. Flower heads are about 6"-8"
high. Honey from this plant is bitter.

This is a variable plant. Flower 3/4" to 1 1/2" wide. Ray petals can have 3 or 4 lobes, always deep
cut. Phyllaries (bract) are in two rows. Disk petals
dry to white and papery. Alternate leaves clasp stem, most are basal. Stem,
leaves, and flower cup have long white hairs. Upright plant grow 6"-18" tall.
