This plant's Genus name has changed from the one mentioned in most guide books.
It appears the designation is undecided.
Golden yellow flower about 1 3/4" wide. Plant grows about 5 feet
tall. Stem is very stiff with flower cluster at top. Large
leaves wrap around stem and have very spiny edges. Livestock do not eat.
