1-3 foot tall bush. Very narrow leaves, thick, woolly. This plant is poisonous to livestock.

This plant's species name has changed from the one mentioned in most guide books.
Flower about 3/4" wide becomes a white puff ball. Sprawling plant shown is about 15" wide and 8" tall, but can grow to 3 feet tall. The plant looks like a tiny conifer with woody branches and small, thick leaves. The leaves look prickly but are soft.
