Blue Flax Linum pratense
Flower about 3/8" wide. Plant is sprawling and twig- like. Seedpod about 1/4" wide.

Texas Bluebells (Tulip Gentian, Purple Prairie Gentian) Eustoma exaltatum (Eustoma grandiflorum)
Flower about 2 1/2" tall and united at base to form a bell. Buds start off
yellow-green and start getting color just before opening. Plant is 2-3
feet tall. A taproot lets this flower bloom during dry times. This
plant is being cultivated to be purple, lavender, blue, white, pink,
red, variegated, and some even have double petals.
