Description: biconvex, fine radial ribs, width slightly more than length, curved corner, short hinge, no wings --- wide shallow sulcus on the pedicle valve, shallow fold on the brachial valve --- triangular interarea has soft edges

This specimen has a rectangular anterior outline that indents just before the wing flare.

Description: biconvex, radial ribs (bolder than Neospirifer), wider than long at sharp hinge, none to very slight wings --- deep sulcus on the pedicle valve, deep fold on the brachial valve --- There is little difference in the three specimens.  --- This site has broken specimens that might have 20 mm hinges.
