Native Species Without Extensive Cultivation
Polemoniaceae - Phlox family
The above are hybrid variations of Phlox that were purchased at a nursery. It is
possible that their ancestor was Annual Phlox. This species was the first
to be cultivated and hybridized. It has many variations that do not look
like the natives, including, speckled coloration, double petals, and serrated
edges.
