order Araneae - infraorder Araneomorphae (true spiders) - family Salticidae

Metallic Jumping Spider Sassacus sp.

Tiny (1/8" long).

It could be S. papenhoei, but the head should be bigger.

This could be a juvenile S. vitis.  The adult would be black with a white band across the abdomen, huge head and short thin legs.
