Funnel Weaver Spiders

Funnel Web Grass Spider Agelenopsis naevia

Spider about 3/4" long body. (no good photos of web)  Web built a flat web across a small gully, about 18"x24".  A fire ant was in the web and the spider was irritated.

Webs below probably do not belong to Agelenopsis naevia.


 

  

Flat web about 24" wide with funnel about 1" wide.

This was a large web, about 18" tall, 12" wide, and quite deep.  I could have put my fist in the opening.
