Ringed Turtle-dove Streptopelia risoria

This a feral bird but most people consider it a native because it has been around a long time and it makes a soft cooing sound.  It is very similar to and interbreeds with the Eurasian Collard Dove.  It is smaller, usually has a light gray body.   Wing tops are slightly banded with a whit center and dark ends.  Belly is light gray to white.
